A better way
to explore.
A great walk starts before anyone reaches the trail. People need to find somewhere worth exploring, understand the distance and difficulty, and decide what suits their day. Once outside, the priorities change: keeping the route to hand, recording the activity and staying connected where coverage allows. Go Guide brings those different moments into one product experience.

Bringing it
together.
We brought the website and app together around that journey. On the web, Go Guide gives people a way to discover routes through an interactive map, explore national parks and landscapes, and look at practical route details before setting off. Route building, saved lists and challenges add ways to plan the next adventure.
The app takes that experience outdoors with downloadable routes and offline maps, activity recording and tools for reviewing distance, time and elevation. Its safety features include wrong-turn alerts, live activity sharing and a check-in flow for a trusted contact. These are supporting tools whose availability depends on the feature, device, permissions and connectivity, rather than a guarantee of safety.

Made for the
whole journey.
Discover the next route.
Map-led browsing and route details help people compare distance, difficulty and elevation before choosing where to go.
Take it beyond reception.
Download routes and maps before setting off, then use the app to keep route information available when mobile coverage disappears.
Make progress personal.
Activity records, saved lists, challenges and peak bagging give people ways to revisit their walks and plan what comes next.
Share more than a number.
The Route Story Designer combines routes, photos, elevation and statistics into a personalised visual story to share after the walk.
